A detailed drive review of the Mahindra XEV 9e, including a 100-0% range test.

The Mahindra XEV 9e comes with two battery pack options, and customer deliveries of the top-spec Pack Three variant have started.

Mahindra & Mahindra’s all-electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6, made a strong debut, racking up over 30,000 bookings in less than a day after official bookings opened. In response to this huge demand, the company has ramped up production. They’ve also shared detailed delivery timelines, giving customers a clear idea of when to expect their vehicles. Customer deliveries have officially begun for both models across India, with the XEV 9e receiving more bookings than the BE 6. We got the chance to review a customer unit and test its range. Check out the full drive review and range test in the video linked below.

The Mahindra XEV 9e comes in seven stunning color options: Everest White, Deep Forest, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, Desert Myst, Ruby Velvet, and Stealth Black. Deliveries for the top-tier Pack Three variant have already begun, while the Pack Two variants are expected to reach customers by July 2025. The Pack One and Pack One Above trims will follow in August 2025.
